Built by the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) in 1929, this building was designed in the Mediterranean style by architect Julia Morgan. Morgan designed a number of YWCA buildings as well as William Randolph Hearst’s San Simeon. The Riverside Art Association purchased the building in 1966 for use as a museum.
