The Brandstater Gallery is part of the Visual Art Center at La Sierra University. The gallery was established in 1984, with a donation from the children of Roy and Frances Brandstater – Rhona, Bernard, Murray and Lynne – as a legacy to honor their parents.
The gallery was designed by Robert Burman, a prolific producer of Modern ecclesiastical architecture in Southern California including the landmark Hollywood Seventh Day Adventist Church on Van Ness and Hollywood Blvd. The 1200 square foot Brandstater Gallery features 16 foot walls, north-facing clerestory windows, and LED light track.
