August 2018, we moved our youngest daughter to Fayetteville, Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas. Prio to moving her into her dorm, we had never visited the campus, let alone the city of Fayetteville. Over the course of move in weekend, we set out to explore Fayetteville and quickly discovered the city has a deep-rooted sense of community and a love for all that their city has to offer. There was an obvious home town pride that we sensed among the people we met and places we visited.

There is a small gift shop we found that first weekend we dropped our daughter off and within its walls, this store carried unique, beautiful, and fun offerings as well as items that showed Fayetteville pride and character. As we entered the store, we were welcomed with friendly interactions while simultaneously being drawn to the everyday goods being sold including the large variety items representing Fayetteville and the greater part of North West Arkansas – making us want to partake in all that they offer! We love this little store and visit it (and purchase items) every time we visit our daughter who has now made Fayetteville her home.

Riverside is home to us. We have worked in other cities & have enjoyed adventures in other places but Riverside is HOME. As we move forward in opening our own retail store, I want to duplicate what I love about City Supply in Fayetteville Arkansas and make Riverside home to Ampersand Gifts & Goods, yet making it unique to our ownership and the people in our area.
