In Riverside, we know how to celebrate—and this year, we’re pulling out all the stops. The summer of 2026 marks a milestone: America’s 250th birthday. As part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration, the City of Riverside’s 4th of July Spectacular returns to the Inland Empire this Saturday, July 4. This free community event features aerial fireworks displays at two locations across the city, with festivities beginning at 6 PM and fireworks at 9 PM.

Where to Watch the Fireworks:

La Sierra Park
5215 La Sierra Ave, Riverside, CA 92505
Nestled in the heart of Riverside’s La Sierra neighborhood, the fireworks show at this park lights up the southern end of the city. Please note: La Sierra Park and Carlson Dog Park will be closed all day on July 4 for safety reasons. Nearby parks including Doty Trust Park and Myra Linn Park make excellent alternative viewing spots.

Mt. Rubidoux

For a truly iconic Riverside experience, head to Mt. Rubidoux for panoramic views of the city skyline as fireworks illuminate the night. Please note: Mt. Rubidoux will be closed after 7 a.m. on July 4 for safety reasons. Plan to arrive early.
